‘The Endocrinauts’
The founding scientist and Chief Executive of Endocrine Pharmaceuticals is Dr John Hart.
Dr Hart has a PhD in biochemistry (endocrine pathology) and has worked as a business development specialist with many science and technology companies, including Amersham (now part of GE Healthcare) and AEA Technology.
The Chairman is Dr John Fox, formerly Planning Director of Shire Pharmaceuticals, co-founder and Director of Hunter-Fleming, a company formed in 1999 to bridge the gap between basic research and clinical proof of concept in inflammatory degenerative diseases.
The Scientific Advisory Board is chaired by Ian Henderson, Emeritus Professor of Vertebrate Endocrinology, Medical School, University of Sheffield. Professor Henderson is Editor in Chief of General and Comparative Endocrinology.
